I believe myself to be a jack of all trades and my work represents that. While each of these are categorized, all of them contribute to my deep understanding of narrative design.

Themed Entertainment

A work-in-process project, this collection contains full ride scripts for my personal theme park concept, Oasis. Fully completed is a dark ride script for a journey to the underworld to meet the spirit of death, Muerte. In progress and to be added are story coaster, immersive theater experience, and themed theater show scripts as well as a park backstory and character profile, all to contribute to the overall story of the park.

Editorial

Having held several editorial positions, I have a variety of example edits. While the short story edits focus mainly on clarity and consistency, the mock full developmental edit shows my proficiency with story structure.

Creative Writing

This collection contains four examples of creative writing. First, short story tdemonstrates my ability to create a fictional world and a start-to-finish complete narrative. My historical fiction short story depicts a variety of unique settings, all visualized clearly and based on historical accuracy. My creative nonfiction piece characterizes a historical figure, creating a narrative out of fact. Lastly, my rhetorical analysis compares two similar films, showing my process to decide what makes a great story.

Being able to visualize a concept is an important part of storytelling, especially when crafting brand narrative. Additionally, I've made quite a few complete marketing plans, looking at audience insight and competition to design products.
